Job Scam Awareness

Learn how to identify fake job offers, registration-fee scams, suspicious interview links and unsafe application requests.

Fake job offers often use urgency, unofficial chat links, registration fees, training fees, offer-letter charges, laptop deposits, background-check payments or promises of guaranteed selection.

Genuine employers usually use official email domains, career pages, recognized hiring platforms or traceable recruiter communication. Always check the company website before sharing documents.

Never share OTPs, banking passwords, UPI PINs, original certificates or identity documents through unofficial WhatsApp or Telegram links.

Be careful when an offer is made without a proper interview, when the salary is unusually high for the role, or when the recruiter refuses to share company details.

Before attending a walk-in, confirm the company name, venue, date, time, role, documents required and whether registration is free.

If a listing on ManaCoding Jobs appears suspicious, report the page URL and issue through the contact page so it can be reviewed.
